Homeschooler's science fair 2021

Karachi homeschoolers arranged a science fair of its own kind every year. But since COVID-19 hit it was all halted. Today on 6 November I got to attend the fair. It was enormously beautiful in the sense that each child's individuality was enhanced through their science masterpiece. Every child was confident and patient enough to explain it to others. The environment was lively. There was a catapult, digestive system, the evolution of writing, therapeutic herbs, volcano eruption, mirror games, circuits, and a few others that I couldn't catch because I arrived late. Congratulations Homeschoolers!!!

Recommended curriculum books

I got to see the series of brain quest workbooks, American # 1 best seller curriculum book. The unique thing about this book is that each book is divided into four sections: language arts, cursive writing, maths skills, social studies, and science, everything a certain grade child should probably be covering in a curriculum.  It's quite an interactive and fun workbook usually kids would fondly love to indulge in. its design is quite engaging. Here are some inside pictures of the book For grade 2.

Helpful book on phonics

I wanted to share a book appraisal, recently got to see in a bookclub at atefa apa's place. Since I'm teaching my elder one through phonics. So, I borrowed the set for a few days from her.  These are helpful if your child is yet a begginer. It has around 10 short story books set inside the box. Stories are incorporated phonically. Only 3 to 4 letter words are there. Stories are also fully Incorporated with new words in each book adding to the vocabulary of a child. And illustration totally are synchronous with the plot. Which makes it more easier for a child to comprehend and remember the words for longer because of the association with the relevant images. It's by the name " hooked on phonics".

Mother Child intricate Bond

I wanted to share a very intricate msg through these flowers made by my daughter that how a child's personality stems from a mother's and how a mother's root enhances a child's. In short, Mother's is the tree that is responsible for a child's blooming fully or withering. Here is the piece of that random craft that got me thinking hard : most of us really don't get to know that Our connection or lack of connection with our mothers shapes the blueprint of our lives. cognizance of our connection with our mothers when we were small will unveil the puzzle as to why we suffer in our relationships when we grow. we see life in the light of how we saw our mothers and how open or shut we feel in the world and in life manifests how our relationship with our mother has been.
