Here is an example from my four-year-old's scrapbook. she likes doing some scrapping so I thought to use this interest to inculcate some conceptual ideology into her.  Do you know children learn better and retain information longer if we teach them through visuals and through images?  she is not good at rot learning. when I try rot learning with kids, I notice that learning becomes burdensome and hectic for both kids and me. instead using visual aids boost their interest as well as their memory retention.  Since we are not homeschoolers from our own childhood, we tend to keep sliding into trying our learning to match. our old school model, but I'm happy, at least we are trying.  I intend to follow this approach in the future. Lately, I was thinking to write from my personal experience, on the topic of “Digital Toxification”, to highlight its poisonous stings on our lives and how it’s putting immense pressure on people of all ages.  Since I have also been the victim of this " Digital poison" for some time, I managed to get hold of it sooner.   👌Just wanted to share the fruits of homeschooling; Being new to the practical homeschooling journey, I have come to realize that it sometimes can do miracles. 👉Every day, homeschooling is making my heartbeat with the concept. 👯I have two toddler daughters, who never saw the school.   👩With the elder one,😳 I had no idea as to how to ignite her natural instinct of learning with which Allah has designed every child. I interfered with her natural learning capabilities, and tried to control her learning which resulted in intelligence grew dim”. 😓 but with the younger child, I left her alone with the books and never made her sit up with the books 📖.while, she would voluntarily pick up her kindergarten books and start reading, reading them all wrong most of the time, stuttering, like a 3-year-old, usually, does. 😄 but I never corrected her 😶 on the journey and let her on her own, the way she wanted to.  Guess what!!! 👏with time, I saw her correcting her own mistake...

      There’s a book called “Tuesdays with Morrie”. For the most part, this book is a conversation taking place between a professor and his student. The Professor is on his death bed and suffering from severe symptoms which is making his life miserable, every passing day. His health is deteriorating every second and yet he chooses not to lament about the excruciating pain he is going through. Rather he decided to share his perspective about life in a very unique way. He wants to be around people and jest about his own disease conditions. While doing so, he gives his closest student named Mitch; the finest advice of his life. The quintessences of his life experience are gathered in the book. This book really hits hard on my gut. To me, his advice were the finest example of precious pearls.
